The MX-5 Owners Club SEQ is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive and member-focused environment where all members can enjoy their shared interest in the Mazda MX-5.
All members are expected to:
- Act respectfully, courteously and inclusively toward other members, guests, volunteers, event organisers and members of the public.
- Promote safe, responsible and lawful driving practices at all times, including during club runs, events and social activities.
- Follow the directions of run leaders, event organisers and authorised club representatives where those directions relate to safety, event management or club operations.
- Protect the integrity, reputation and good standing of the Club through their conduct, both in person and online.
- Comply with the Club’s Rules, By-Laws, policies, event requirements and any lawful directions given by the Committee or its authorised representatives.
- Avoid behaviour that may be unsafe, discriminatory, intimidating, harassing, offensive, disruptive or damaging to the Club or its members.
Members are responsible for their own conduct and for ensuring that any guests they bring to club events also behave appropriately.
Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, following due process in accordance with the Club’s Rules and By-Laws.
