Participation in MX-5 Owners Club (SEQ) Inc. Club Runs, Meet & Eat events and other Club activities is entirely voluntary.
By registering participants agree that:
- They are responsible for their own actions, conduct and safety at all times.
- They are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is roadworthy, registered and appropriately insured.
- All drivers must hold a current and valid driver licence.
- They must comply with all applicable road rules, laws and directions provided by event organisers or authorised Club representatives.
- Club runs are social driving events conducted on public roads and are not races, speed tests or competitive events.
- Drivers must always drive safely, responsibly and according to prevailing road, weather and traffic conditions.
- Participants attend and participate entirely at their own risk.
By registering for and attending a Club event, participants acknowledge and agree that:
Whilst the MX-5 Owners Club (SEQ) Inc. and its volunteers take reasonable care in organising Club activities, the Club, its office bearers, event organisers, volunteers and representatives accept no responsibility for:
- loss or damage to vehicles or property,
- personal injury,
- illness,
- accidents,
- delays,
- or any other loss arising from participation in Club activities,
except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Participants acknowledge that Club events may involve inherent risks associated with driving, travel and attendance at public venues and activities.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly and to comply with the Club’s Code of Conduct, Rules and By-Laws at all times.
By registering for or attending a Club event, participants confirm that they have read, understood and accepted this Disclaimer & Participant Acknowledgement.
